Catuaba (Trichilia catigua A.Juss..) also known as Cataguá, chuchuhuasha, tatuaba, pau de reposta, caramuru, piratançara, angelim-rosa, catiguá is slightly bitter tasting herb - blends well with other sweeter herbal teas. Catuaba means "what gives strength to an Indian" in Guarani and has long history of traditional use in South America.
Suggested Use: It can be used for herbal tea. Place the 1-1.5g of crushed bark in a saucepan (preferably not aluminium), pour on cup of water, place the saucepan lid on, bring to the boil and simmer on a low heat for 5-15 minutes.
