Chicory root herbal tea (Cichorium intybus L.)

Common chicory (Cichorium intybus L.) also known as Blue Daisy, Blue Dandelion, Blue Sailors, Blue Weed, Bunk, Coffeeweed, Cornflower, Horseweed, Succory, Wild Endive and Wild Bachelor’s Buttons, Juju Gen derived from exceptionally high quality chicory roots, robust yet smooth tasting tea with a hint of bitterness, has long term traditional use.

 Suggested Use: Chicory Root can be made into a delicious hot drink by decocting. Add 1-2 teaspoons per cup of water, bring it to boil, simmer for 5-10 minutes and strain, drink up to 3 cup per day. Contraindications: Chicory root is not recommended for women during pregnancy as it has been shown to trigger miscarriage and menstrual bleeding.
