About Us Botanical Remedies is a rapidly growing online herbal dispensary. We pride ourselves on the uncompromising quality of our clinical-grade European herbal products. As we expand into our new commercial warehouse and open our first physical retail shop, we are working toward full GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse & Production Assistants who take pride in their work to join our friendly team and help us maintain these world-class standards.
Training & Progression: We invest in our team. Your employment will begin with a structured 1-month training period to ensure you are fully confident in our processes, computer systems, and GMP standards. This training is part of a standard 3-month probationary period. Once successfully completed, your pay will automatically increase to £15.00 per hour.
- 🌿 The Botanical Remedies Growth Perk: If you find herbalism interesting and want to learn more, we are passionate about supporting our team in this direction! For the right candidates, we are open to sponsoring and supporting your education, courses, or professional development in herbal medicine to help you grow your career with us.
The Working Environment & Our "Precision Over Speed" Guarantee:
- Fully Temperature Controlled: Our facility is kept at a very comfortable 20°C to 22°C year-round to protect our herbs—and our staff!
- No Heavy Lifting: This role focuses on precision rather than heavy physical labor. There is no lifting over 10 kg involved.
- No Rush, But Zero Tolerance for Errors: We guarantee that you will never be rushed to finish a task. We prioritize absolute precision over speed. However, because our botanical products directly impact customer health, maintaining 100% accuracy is a strict condition of your employment. Following your comprehensive 3-month training and probation period, consistent errors or a breach of our quality control standards will result in the termination of your contract.
- Botanical Environment: Please note that while our warehouse is highly ventilated and clean, you will be surrounded by the natural scents and dust of hundreds of different herbs and botanicals!
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately picking, weighing, and packing customer orders.
- Production Support: Assisting the team with our botanical production processes, including handling raw herbs and powders, and supporting our clinical herbalists with extractions and custom blends.
- Physical Shop / Herbalist Assistant: As we open our physical retail space, there will be exciting opportunities to step out of the warehouse and work front-of-house, assisting our clinical herbalists and serving customers face-to-face!
- GMP Standards & Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse environment. You will help follow strict hygiene and documentation rules necessary for our GMP certification.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, retail, or food handling environment is preferred but not essential (full training will be provided).
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written): Essential for reading GMP safety documentation, reading order slips, and assisting customers in the physical shop.
- Basic computer literacy: You will need to be comfortable using a PC to generate and print product and shipping labels.
- A keen eye for detail—accuracy is critical when weighing and packing botanical products.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor (especially for front-of-house shop duties).
- A willingness to learn and adhere to strict food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Health & Safety: Because you will be directly handling hundreds of different raw herbs, flowers, and fine botanical powders, you must be safely able to work in an environment with airborne botanical dust and have no severe allergies to plants or pollen.
To Apply: Please send your CV and a brief message outlining your availability (full-time or part-time) to Wojciech at wojciech.bujak@botanicalremedies.co.uk or reach out via WhatsApp at 07466264913.
