Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna Jacq.) also known as quickthorn, thornapple, May-tree, whitethorn, Mayflower or hawberry, sweet and slightly sour, tangy tasting herbal tea, Hawthorn is botanical ingredient rich in symbolism and tradition.
