Nettle (Urtica dioica L.also known as Bichu, Common Nettle, burn Nettle, stinging Nettle or Nettle leaf, Xun Ma​ or just a Nettle or Stinger popular with athletes and body builders. Nettle root has been used traditionally for ages.


Suggested Use: It can be used for herbal tea. Place the 1-2 teaspoon of powder in a saucepan (preferably not aluminium), pour on cup of water, place the saucepan lid on, bring to the boil and simmer on a low heat for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink.

Contraindications: Nettle root is considered safe but some people may experience mild stomach upset or fluid retention.
