also known as Agnus Castus, Lilac chastetree, Vitex, Chastetree, Monk's Pepper, Niepokalanek Mnisi, a Mediterranean plant with deep symbolic history which has been used for thousands of years for its beneficial affect on the female hormonal system.
Suggested Use: Place the 1-2 teaspoon of crushed/ground berry in a saucepan (preferably not aluminium), pour on cup of water, place the saucepan lid on, bring to the boil and simmer on a low heat for 10-15 minutes.
