Greater Burdock (Articum lappa L.) also known as Bardane, Beggar’s Buttons, Cockle Button, gobō, edible burdock, lappa, beggar's buttons, thorny burr, or happy major an delicious earthy, sweet tasting herbal tea. Greater Burdock has been used traditionally for ages.

 

Suggested Use: It can be used for herbal tea. Place the 1-2 teaspoon of herb in a saucepan (preferably not aluminium), pour on cup of water, place the saucepan lid on, bring to the boil and simmer on a low heat for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink. Greater Burdock has also other uses, research beneficial uses of this herb or consult an Herbalist as to how this product can benefit you.

Contraindications: Not suitable for use during pregnancy.

I was hastentent when buying this in case it was too bitter. I mix it with Lemon balm also bought on same site. and it's lovely.
