Sweet flag ground root tea (Acurus calamus L.)

Sweet flag (Acurus calamus L.) also known as sway, muskrat root. Sweet tasting, with flavours similar to a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger - although watch out for the bitter aftertaste. Perfect as a tea, flavouring for food or as bitters. Sweet flag has long history of traditional use.

What make our powders special? Preparation! Using only finest wild grown or cultivated at Poland rhizomes, gathered right time, properly dried then passed trough laboratory checks to confirm highest quality and purity. 

But that's not all, our powders are made to powder on day of dispatch. Why? What's that mean? Every Herbalist know answer to that. Powders should be used ideally within 1-2, max 3 weeks from powdering, as with time precious constituents start to lose their properties, weakening possible medical actions. Suggested Use: It can be used for herbal tea. Add 1-2 tea spoon to cup of boiling water, step under cover for 10-25 min. Strain and drink. Sweet flag has also other uses, research beneficial uses of this herb or consult an Herbalist as to how this product can benefit you.

Contraindications: When taking medications or other herbs on a regular basis, you should consult your doctor about consuming calamus rhizomes. Additionally, it should not be used in case of allergy to calamus rhizome, during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age.
