White Willow bark tea (Salix alba L.)

White Willow (Salix alba L.) also known as Basket Willow, Bay Willow, Black Willow, Pussy Willow, European Willow, Weeping Willow, Liu Shu Pi astringent, slightly bitter warming tea. White Willow  has been traditionally used for over 5,000 years

Suggested Use: It can be used for herbal tea. Place the 1-2 teaspoon of herb in a saucepan (preferably not aluminium), pour on cup of water, place the saucepan lid on, bring to the boil and simmer on a low heat for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink up to 3 times a day. White Willow has also other uses, research beneficial uses of this herb or consult an Herbalist as to how this product can benefit you.

Contraindications: Contraindication are similar to those for asprin and include asthma, allergic rhinitis, stroke, renal insufficiency, peptic ulcers, gastro-intestinal bleeding or bleeding tendancies. Not recommended for prolonged use.
