Saw Palmetto berries whole (Serenoa repens (W.Bartram.)Small.) dried, loose herbal tea

also known as Ju Ye Zong, Palma Sabalowa. Saw Palmetto was used by Native Americans. Seminole tribe in Florida ate the berries for food. There is a history of saw palmetto being used by the Mayans who travelled as far north as the Southern United States and/or also traded with the local Seminole Indians.

Suggested Use: It can be used for herbal tea. Place the 1-2 teaspoon of ground fruit in a saucepan (preferably not aluminium), pour on cup of water, place the saucepan lid on, bring to the boil and simmer on a low heat for 10-15 minutes.
