Mountain-ash (Sorbus aucuparia L.) also known as Rowan Berries, Whitty Pear, Quickbeam, European Ash, Bilberry, Witchwood, Thor’s Helper, Wiggy, Delight of the Eye, Hua Qiu is acidic, astringent, bitter, and Cooling herb, and has long history of traditional use.
Suggested Use: It can be used for herbal tea 1-2 teaspoon to cup of boiling water, step for 10-20 minutes, strain and drink. Rowan has also other uses, research beneficial uses of this herb or consult an Herbalist as to how this product can benefit you.
Contraindications: The raw berries contain a high level of toxic parasorbic acid that is changed into beneficial sorbic acid after they have been heated or frozen. Eating high doses of raw uncooked or frozen berries is not advised.
